Под его руководством киевское "Динамо" 8 раз становилось чемпионом СССР и 6 раз обладателем Кубка СССР. Дважды (в 1975 и 1986) клуб выиграл европейский Кубок Кубков, а также в 1975 европейский Суперкубок.
