Бывший главный тренер сборной Англии, Мексики, Кот-д'Ивуара и Филиппин по футболу, а также клубов - "Манчестер Сити", "Лестер Сити", "Рома" и "Лацио" и др.

Скончался на 77-м году жизни после продолжительной болезни.
