На третьем круге 29-летний пилот, имя которого не называется, упал со своего мотоцикла, после чего был сбит двумя соперниками по этапу. По словам победителя квалификации Гленна Аллертона, инцидента вряд ли можно было избежать, поскольку гонщики ехали в общей группе и на большой скорости, а среагировать на падение просто не успели.
