Турнир должен пройти с 17 января по 8 февраля в Марокко. Ранее представители страны обратились к руководству КАФ с просьбой перенести континентальное первенство на 2016 год из-за риска распространения эпидемии Эбола, очаги которой находятся в африканских странах. "Турнир пройдет в запланированные даты. Королевской футбольной федерации Марокко был дан срок до 8 ноября, чтобы прояснить свою позицию. То же время дано и другим федерациям, изъявляющим желание организовать в согласованные сроки Кубок африканских наций, – говорится в официальном заявлении конфедерации.
