МШ заправился долго 10 сек. видимо он идёт на два пита. Ряйкённена оштрафовали за пересечение белой линии.

после питов Баттона и Монтойи МШ сразу же поставил лучший круг и РШ тоже пошел на заправку. Алонсо лидирует, но недолго, он тоже пошел на пит, Лидируют МШ и РБ. МШ - 1:13.630!

Ralf Schumacher admitted he was as surprised as anyone to find himself on pole for the Canadian GP. The German had been off the pace in practice but pulled everything together when it mattered to take his first pole position in almost a year. He said: “I must admit I am a bit surprised. We had a big struggle on Friday with braking problems. The team did a great job and we did not expect to be here.” Asked when he started to get a feel for the car, Ralf said: “It started in first qualifying. That was the first time the car seemed all right for me to push. “I made a few little mistakes but it didn’t cost me any time.” Ralf is still wary of the threat posed by brother Michael, even though the world champion will start down in sixth. He said: “From where we are we have a good chance of having a great race. “I think Ferrari realised that the Michelin runners are particularly quick on their first few laps and have changed their strategy a bit. “I don’t think Ferrari from having the best car by a long way are now a second slower than us. “I am sure Michael will have a great race but from where he is it will be difficult.” Ralf will be starting in front of team-mate Juan Pablo Montoya for the first time this season. The Colombian said: “We worked a lot on the car over the weekend. I think Ralf is in very good shape and I am in good shape so we will see what happens.”

Michael Schumacher has warned his rivals that he has won races from much lower than sixth on the grid. Schumacher will start Sunday’s Canadian GP from the third row of the grid after a qualifying session that was dominated by Michelin runners. The German said: “I would say this was a difficult qualifying session. “I had not expected it to be easy, but now it will be interesting to see how well our tyres will perform in the race and how much ground we make up compared to what we have lost in qualifying. “I have won races from lower positions on the grid and so I am still confident for tomorrow." Team-mate Rubens Barrichello will be immediately behind Schumacher in seventh – despite sliding wide at turn six. He said: "It was a bit of a complicated day. This morning I took a kerb differently to usual and the car bottomed out hard enough to damage the chassis. “The mechanics then did a fantastic job to refit my engine into the spare car, which meant I was able to get out on track again for the second part of the fourth session. “The new car is handling pretty well, but my lap was not perfect. I actually made a mistake at turn six which probably cost me at least half a second. But I remain confident for tomorrow because the car is very competitive in race trim."

А чеё ему делать, обгонять не сможет, разве только Минарди или Джордан, и проебал бы старт, лучше уж быть танкером с новым движком на борту А у Маков (тфу тфу тфу) пока никто не сгорел, прогресс налицо.
